Designer role at Guerlain Paris for fragrances retail merchandising; temporary contract, scenography and retail design expertise required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Adapt and modify designs from staging guidelines to suit specific market constraints, retailer requirements, and local assortments
- Provide technical deliverables and specifications tailored to each market's unique needs and production capabilities
- Ensure proper execution of retail scenographies in accordance with the Maison's quality standards
- Develop production-feasible solutions that align with both technical specifications and market budgets in partnership with local teams
- Manage timelines and coordinate development phases from design adaptation through to scenography production and installation
- Source materials and make supplier recommendations based on technical and budgetary feasibility
- Prepare technical files and oversee vendor selection processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in design, scenography, or architecture from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in similar design or merchandising roles
- Proven experience within the luxury goods industry preferred
- Deep knowledge of selective distribution retail channels at the international level
- Proficiency in design software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and SketchUp (mandatory)
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong project ownership mentality

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in design or merchandising functions, ideally within a luxury goods house or premium retail environment. Demonstrated track record adapting designs across international markets and managing retail implementations.
Education
Bachelor's degree (Bac+5) in design, scenography, or architecture from an accredited institution.
