Guerlain Counter Manager in Rotterdam at De Bijenkorf. Lead a beauty counter team, drive sales, and deliver luxury client experiences in this full-time supervisory role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the beauty counter team on a daily basis, fostering strong team cohesion and performance
- Drive achievement of sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) and monitor performance indicators against KPIs
- Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations aligned with Guerlain and De Bijenkorf standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service and lead by example on the shop floor, creating a welcoming luxury experience
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized engagement and loyalty initiatives
- Oversee administrative functions including staff planning, stock management, inventory control, and ordering
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales, KPIs, and performance metrics through internal systems
- Manage and coordinate product launches, in-store animations, and promotional events
- Maintain optimal stock levels and efficient sell-through aligned with merchandising guidelines
- Act as key liaison between Head Office and counter team, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Build collaborative relationships with De Bijenkorf floor and store management
- Guarantee full compliance with Guerlain merchandising standards and luxury brand image guidelines
Qualifications
- Professional make-up artistry and/or beautician certification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant retail or luxury beauty experience
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team
- Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
- Good command of English
- Strong commercial and sales mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in luxury retail, beauty counter management, or related supervisory roles within a fast-paced retail environment, with demonstrated success in sales achievement and team leadership.
Education
Professional make-up artistry certification and/or beautician qualification required.
