Guerlain Counter Manager position in Amsterdam. Lead beauty counter operations, manage team, drive sales performance, and deliver luxury client experience at de Bijenkorf.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the counter team on a daily basis, fostering strong team spirit and a culture of excellence
- Act as a role model in sales, service excellence, grooming, and brand representation
- Set and follow up on individual and team objectives through regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations
- Ensure the team understands and respects Guerlain's standards and values
- Drive and achieve sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and monitor performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to grow the business and increase counter performance through strategic initiatives
- Ensure successful execution of product launches, animations, and in-store events
- Act as the key liaison between Head Office and the counter team, maintaining clear and consistent communication
- Build strong relationships with store and floor management to optimize collaborative efforts
- Deliver and promote the highest level of customer service, leading by example on the shop floor
- Strengthen client loyalty through personalized service and relationship building
- Ensure Guerlain service standards are consistently applied across all client interactions
- Oversee administrative tasks including staff planning, stock management, and ordering
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales, KPIs, and internal tools
- Maintain optimal stock levels and efficient sell-through to maximize revenue
- Guarantee full compliance with merchandising and brand image guidelines
- Maintain the counter at all times in alignment with Guerlain's luxury standards
Qualifications
- Professional make-up artistry and/or beautician certification
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Fluent in Dutch (mandatory)
- Good command of English

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in luxury retail, beauty counter management, or cosmetics sales, with demonstrated success in leading teams and achieving sales targets.
Education
Professional make-up artistry certification and/or beautician qualification required.
