Guerlain Counter Manager — Amsterdam. Lead the Guerlain counter at de Bijenkorf, manage Beauty Consultants and drive sales and brand excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the counter team (Beauty Consultants) to achieve sales, service and brand standards.
- Set individual and team objectives; conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Drive daily, weekly and monthly sales targets; monitor sell-out, KPIs and market share and implement corrective action plans.
- Manage operational duties including staff planning, stock control, ordering and timely sales reporting.
- Ensure flawless counter presentation and strict adherence to Guerlain merchandising and luxury image guidelines.
- Own the execution of product launches, in-store events and promotional activations in collaboration with Trade Marketing and the National Make-up Artist.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store/floor management and act as the principal liaison with Head Office.
- Deliver exemplary client experience, lead by example on the sales floor and develop client loyalty through personalised service.
Qualifications
- Professional make-up artistry or beautician certification.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a retail beauty team.
- Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to represent a luxury brand with impeccable grooming and etiquette.
- Flexible approach to working hours and a hands-on, proactive mindset.

Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury beauty retail with proven people-management responsibility and counter-level commercial accountability.
Education
Professional make-up artistry and/or beautician certification.
