Guerlain Counter Manager — Amsterdam (de Bijenkorf). Lead the counter team, drive sales and deliver luxury client experiences for Guerlain in Amsterdam.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate the counter team (Beauty Consultants) to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and deliver exceptional client service.
- Act as the primary ambassador of the brand on the shop floor, ensuring Guerlain’s image, grooming and service standards are consistently applied.
- Monitor commercial performance (sell-out, KPIs, market share), develop and implement action plans to optimise revenue and counter productivity.
- Manage operational tasks including staff planning, stock management, ordering and accurate reporting through internal tools.
- Plan and execute product launches, in-store activations and events in close collaboration with Head Office, National Make‑up Artist, Trade Marketing and store management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with de Bijenkorf floor management and serve as the key liaison between the counter and Guerlain Head Office.
Qualifications
- Professional make-up artistry and/or beautician certification or equivalent vocational qualification in cosmetics.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in retail management within luxury beauty or cosmetics.
- Fluent Dutch (mandatory) and good command of English.
- Proven ability to coach, develop and motivate a retail sales team.
- Strong commercial mindset with proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Experience
Minimum three years of retail leadership experience in the luxury beauty or cosmetics sector, demonstrating consistent achievement of sales targets and team development.
Education
Professional make-up artistry and/or beautician certification or equivalent vocational training in beauty/cosmetics.

The successful candidate will be located in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.
