Guerlain is hiring a Business Manager in Newcastle (Fenwick) to lead boutique sales, teams and operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the boutique team to deliver an exceptional, personalised customer experience and enforce Guerlain’s sales method on the sales floor.
- Plan, monitor and achieve sales objectives and KPIs; contribute to business forecasting, P&L adherence and commercial action plans.
- Recruit, onboard, coach and develop employees; set individual and team objectives, conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs.
- Manage all operational and back‑office duties including schedules, payroll, bonuses, supplier relationships, stock control, cash and inventory risk management.
- Maintain boutique image and visual merchandising standards; coordinate with support teams to implement merchandising directives and ensure store presentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ proven experience in retail management within beauty, cosmetics or luxury fashion.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and managing P&L or budget responsibilities.
- Proven ability to recruit, coach and develop teams with strong leadership and managerial courage.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer‑service skills with sensitivity to luxury client expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with a business management application; strong organisational and reporting capability.

Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience in retail management, preferably within luxury beauty or cosmetics, with hands‑on responsibility for store sales, operations and team leadership.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, retail management, hospitality or a related field preferred.
