Guerlain seeks a Boutique Manager in Hamburg (Alsterhaus) to lead the boutique team, drive luxury retail sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Hamburg boutique and counters, setting the standard for service, presentation and performance in line with Guerlain guidelines.
  • Own retail KPIs and sales targets; implement staff rotas and resource planning to deliver operational excellence.
  • Inspire and coach the team as a visible role model, fostering motivation, product knowledge and high-performance selling.
  • Design and execute point-of-sale initiatives and visual merchandising to maximise conversion and enhance the luxury brand experience.
  • Build, maintain and grow an exclusive client base through personalised clienteling and long-term retention strategies.
  • Monitor sales, analyse performance data and produce regular reports to identify opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Safeguard and elevate the brand image through meticulous implementation of Guerlain merchandising and store standards.

Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification in cosmetology, retail or an equivalent credential.
  • Proven professional experience in premium or luxury retail with responsibility for team leadership.
  • Empathetic, hands-on leadership style with demonstrated ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Fluent German and good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Strong affinity for luxury beauty products and informed sense for trends in cosmetics and fashion.
  • Confident, extroverted presence with excellent sales and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with practical experience using KPIs to drive actions and results.
  • High service orientation and enjoyment in working with discerning clientele; strong attention to detail and creativity.
