Guerlain seeks a Beauty Counter Manager in Rotterdam to lead the De Bijenkorf counter, driving sales, team performance and luxury client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and motivate the counter team daily; set individual and team objectives and conduct regular performance reviews and coaching.
  • Drive and achieve sales targets (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) and implement action plans based on KPI and sell‑out analysis.
  • Deliver an exceptional, personalized client experience; foster client loyalty through high‑touch service and relationship building.
  • Oversee counter operations including staff planning, stock management, ordering and accurate sales/KPI reporting.
  • Ensure flawless execution of product launches, in‑store events and merchandising to guarantee alignment with Guerlain brand standards.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Guerlain Head Office and De Bijenkorf floor management; build strong cross‑functional relationships.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in luxury beauty retail or cosmetics counter management, with a proven sales record.
  • Professional qualification in make‑up artistry, cosmetology or equivalent vocational training preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch (mandatory) and a good command of English.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience with ability to coach, develop and inspire a sales team.
  • Strong commercial orientation with capability to analyse KPIs and translate insight into operational actions.
