Guerlain Beauty Consultant, part-time (30 hours), Rushden Lakes. Join as a brand ambassador delivering luxury beauty service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively sell Guerlain products and deliver luxury-standard customer service while achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets
- Execute cross-product linking and strategic product recommendations to maximize average transaction value and transaction units
- Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge across the Guerlain portfolio and confidently overcome customer objections through personalized consultation
- Conduct in-counter makeup demonstrations and flash makeovers, articulating product benefits with confidence and expertise
- Initiate customer engagement both at the counter and through floor traffic interception, welcoming clients and identifying their skincare and beauty needs
- Cultivate long-term client relationships and foster brand loyalty through personalized service and education on Guerlain's heritage and product offerings
- Manage merchandise presentation in accordance with corporate guidelines and maintain optimal stock levels, reporting discrepancies to the Counter Manager
- Embody the Guerlain brand as an impeccably groomed ambassador, maintaining alignment with company procedures, store policies, and employee handbook guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to engage confidently with customers and demonstrate strong selling acumen
- Knowledge of makeup application techniques and cosmetics product education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Immaculate personal grooming and presentation befitting luxury brand standards

Skills
Experience
Entry-level experience in beauty, cosmetics retail, or luxury customer service is advantageous; however, motivated candidates without direct experience but possessing strong interpersonal and sales potential will be considered.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; no formal post-secondary qualifications required.

The successful candidate will be located in Rushden, England, UK, with easy access to Northampton.
