Guerlain Beauty Consultant (Part-time, 15 hrs) at House of Fraser, Rushden Lakes — Rushden, UK.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised luxury service at the House of Fraser counter to achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
- Proactively sell and cross-sell Guerlain fragrances, skincare and make-up to increase average transaction value and units.
- Conduct product demonstrations and flash make-overs, explaining product benefits and confidently overcoming customer objections.
- Initiate customer contact on counter and through traffic-stopping, identify and reformulate client needs, and develop lasting client relationships.
- Support merchandise standards and stock management in line with corporate guidelines; monitor stock levels and report issues to the Counter Manager.
- Complete assigned operational and administrative tasks, adhere to company and store procedures, and represent the Guerlain brand at all times.
- Contribute to mystery shopping and other KPI-driven quality assessments.
Qualifications
- Entry-level role; previous experience in cosmetics, beauty or luxury retail is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform make-up demonstrations and to advise clients confidently on skincare, fragrance and make-up.
- Strong commercial orientation with a demonstrable ability to meet sales KPIs and upsell.
- Exceptionally well-groomed, poised and able to embody the Guerlain brand aesthetic.
- Right to work in the UK and flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level. Prior retail or cosmetics counter experience is advantageous; candidates must demonstrate a results-driven approach and readiness to work to sales targets and mystery-shopping standards.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent); vocational training or an industry qualification in beauty/cosmetology is preferred but not mandatory.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Rushden, England, UK, with easy access to Milton Keynes.
