Guerlain seeks a Beauty Consultant in Rotterdam (De Bijenkorf). Full‑time retail role driving sales and delivering personalised luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised luxury consultations: advise, demonstrate and sell Guerlain products to clients while anticipating needs and proposing tailored beauty solutions.
- Achieve individual and counter sell‑out targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and contribute actively to overall counter KPIs.
- Build and maintain long‑term client relationships to drive loyalty, repeat business and market share growth; proactively approach and recruit new clients.
- Uphold brand presentation and merchandising standards: maintain counter cleanliness and organisation, ensure testers are available and follow Guerlain visual guidelines.
- Support counter operations and reporting: monitor stock levels, assist the Counter Manager with daily tasks and reporting, and provide market and competitor feedback.
- Participate in in‑store activations and events, share product knowledge with colleagues and temporary staff, and engage in continuous product and sales training.
Qualifications
- Minimum MBO level (or equivalent).
- Make‑up artistry training (commercial application) and/or certified beautician qualification.
- Fluent Dutch (spoken and written) is mandatory; good command of English.
- Basic familiarity with digital tools and store reporting systems.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years' retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or luxury retail. Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and delivering high standards of customer service.
Education
Minimum MBO level (or equivalent).
