Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty and fragrance consultations, demonstrating and selling Guerlain products to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sell‑out targets.
  • Build and nurture client relationships to drive loyalty, repeat purchases and client database growth through proactive outreach and tailored recommendations.
  • Maintain the counter to Guerlain standards: merchandising execution, visual presentation, tester availability and impeccable cleanliness and grooming.
  • Support Counter Manager with daily operations, stock monitoring (especially bestsellers), sales reporting and ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Provide feedback on client behaviour, market trends and competitor activity; assist in planning and executing in‑store events and brand activations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and temporary staff, share product knowledge, participate in training and contribute to a positive, high‑performing team dynamic.

Qualifications

  • Minimum MBO level (or equivalent).
  • Formal make‑up artistry training (commercial application) and/or beautician certification.
  • Minimum 2–3 years' retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or luxury beauty.
  • Proven sales orientation with a track record of meeting targets and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Fluent Dutch (spoken and written) is mandatory; good command of English.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and variable schedules; strong grooming and presentation standards.
