Guerlain seeks a part‑time Beauty Consultant (18 hrs) in Edinburgh at H Beauty to deliver luxury skincare and make‑up advice and exceed sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador on the H Beauty counter, delivering a personalised luxury service that reflects Guerlain’s image.
- Proactively sell Guerlain fragrance, skincare and make‑up ranges to achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs (including Mystery Shopping scores).
- Drive transaction growth through cross‑selling and advising on complementary products to increase average transaction value and units.
- Provide tailored product recommendations and demonstrations, including flash makeovers and make‑up application, explaining product benefits and addressing client objections.
- Initiate customer contact on counter and through traffic‑stopping techniques; identify, reformulate and fulfil client needs to develop loyalty and repeat business.
- Support merchandise management and stock control in line with corporate guidelines; report stock issues to the Counter Manager and ensure sufficient levels.
- Complete operational and administrative tasks as assigned and liaise with store management and internal retail teams to maintain brand standards.
Qualifications
- Impeccable personal presentation and grooming consistent with a luxury beauty environment.
- Strong selling skills with the confidence to approach and engage customers proactively.
- Practical knowledge of make‑up application and skincare consultation, able to demonstrate products effectively.
- Resilient, results‑oriented and tenacious with the ability to pursue sales opportunities and develop client relationships.
- Flexibility to work part‑time hours (18 hours per week) on site at H Beauty Edinburgh.
