Guerlain is seeking a full-time Beauty Consultant for its Bicester Village counter, working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, delivering personalised luxury service, developing client loyalty and supporting counter operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Proactively sell Guerlain products and provide customers with luxury-standard service.
- Know and achieve or exceed sales targets set by the line manager.
- Cross-sell across product categories to increase average transaction value (ATV) and average transaction units (ATU).
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Guerlain products, recommend personalised products and confidently address customer objections.
- Demonstrate products through flash makeovers and explain each product’s benefits.
- Initiate contact with customers and welcome them at the counter and through traffic-stopping engagement.
- Identify, understand and reformulate client needs.
- Build personal relationships with clients and foster loyalty.
- Educate clients about Guerlain products and the brand.
- Participate in merchandise management in accordance with corporate guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels, report issues to the Counter Manager and ensure sufficient stock is available.
- Complete assigned operational and administrative tasks.
- Represent and act as a Guerlain brand ambassador at all times.
- Follow company procedures and policies outlined in the employee handbook.
- Build relationships with store management and follow store policies and procedures.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the management team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience.
- Tenacity and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver the highest standard of luxury service.
- A driven, results-oriented approach, with the ability to grow business through events and counter activity.
- Self-confidence and ease in approaching and engaging customers.
- Strong selling skills.
- Knowledge of cosmetics and makeup application.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to identify products suited to customers’ needs.
- Immaculate grooming and presentation.
