Guerlain seeks a Beauty Consultant in Amsterdam to deliver luxury client experiences and drive sell‑out performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, luxury client consultations to advise, demonstrate and sell Guerlain makeup, skincare and fragrance products; consistently provide the highest standard of customer service.
  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sell‑out targets and contribute to revenue and market share growth through proactive selling and client acquisition.
  • Develop and nurture a loyal client portfolio through clienteling, follow‑up, and tailored beauty solutions to drive repeat business.
  • Execute Guerlain merchandising and presentation guidelines; maintain the counter to impeccable standards including tester presentation, cleanliness and organisation.
  • Monitor stock and bestseller levels and report replenishment needs proactively to the Counter Manager; support inventory accuracy.
  • Support counter operations and reporting duties as required by the Counter Manager; provide market and competitor feedback to Sales Support and Trade Marketing.
  • Contribute to in‑store activations, events and product launches; participate in training sessions and share product knowledge with colleagues and temporary staff.
  • Adhere to Guerlain grooming and brand representation standards at all times and foster a collaborative, high‑performing team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum MBO level (or equivalent) education.
  • Commercial make‑up artistry training and/or recognised beautician certification.
  • Minimum 2–3 years' retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or luxury beauty.
  • Proven sales orientation with a track record of meeting targets and strong clienteling skills.
  • Fluent Dutch (spoken and written) is mandatory; good command of English.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
