Guerlain Assistant Store Designer & Visual Merchandiser internship in Paris – design retail spaces for travel retail worldwide, 6-month fixed-term role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and executing store opening and renovation projects for permanent and temporary retail points across Europe and the Americas, including zoning, 3D visualization, and technical drawings
- Support creation and management of project documentation for internal and external validation with retailers
- Monitor and correct technical drawings received from manufacturers and fabricators
- Contribute to overall project management from brief reception through installation in collaboration with architecture team leads
- Maintain and update comprehensive archives and databases including SketchUp files, photographs, plans, and retail guidelines
- Develop point-of-sale materials (PLV) and marketing assets specific to the travel retail sector in collaboration with visual merchandising leads
- Prepare technical briefs and specifications for operational teams and external partners
- Provide support to regional teams to ensure retail excellence across airport locations
- Track and report on project progress using Excel and PowerPoint documentation
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or graduating from a design school with completion of final-year internship
- Fluent written and spoken French and English
- Proficiency with SketchUp and AutoCAD
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience or familiarity with 3D rendering tools (V-Ray or Twilight preferred)

Completion of or current enrollment in a design school program (stage de fin d'études / final-year internship).
