Guerlain internship in Paris: Assistant Store Design & Visual Merchandising for Travel Retail Worldwide, 6 months starting January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing opening and renovation projects for permanent and temporary retail locations (6+ months duration) including backwalls and gondola displays across Europe and the Americas; create technical drawings, 3D renderings, and floor plans
  • Produce project portfolios for internal and external (retailer) validation and approval
  • Review and correct technical drawings received from manufacturers; manage project workflow from brief reception through installation in collaboration with the Architecture Project Manager
  • Maintain and update all project archives and databases including SketchUp library, photography, floor plans, and store guidelines
  • Design point-of-sale (POS) materials specific to the travel retail market in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising Project Manager
  • Develop technical briefs for internal and external operational teams; create artwork and technical print files using Adobe Illustrator
  • Support regional teams to ensure retail excellence across all airport locations; coordinate with Regional Operations, Marketing, and International Merchandising teams
  • Track project progress on a weekly basis using Excel and PowerPoint documentation

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a design school (final-year internship)
  • Fluent written and spoken French and English
  • Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering tools (V-Ray or Twilight preferred)
  • Strong organizational, responsive, and creative mindset with marketing sensibility and passion for perfume and cosmetics industry
