Guerlain seeks an Assistant Project Manager for a 6-month data and e-commerce analytics internship in Paris; start January 2025.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support e-commerce and digital media teams in data collection aligned with business requirements, ensuring reliability, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee A/B testing deployment across the e-commerce platform from conception through analysis, coordinating cross-functional teams and developing framing and analysis documentation
- Guide market teams in implementing established best practices including naming conventions, audience management, and access control protocols
- Assist headquarters and market teams in analyzing digital customer journeys using collected data, including conversion rate optimization and web analytics
- Contribute to definition and refinement of analytical dashboards, leveraging multi-source data to enhance reporting capabilities
- Monitor key web analytics metrics including traffic by acquisition channel, opt-in rates, and other performance indicators
- Develop training materials to drive adoption of analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, ContentSquare, Google Suite) and available dashboards
- Facilitate weekly stakeholder meetings with Beauty Tech, LVMH Lab, Data Product Owners, and internal teams
- Manage communications regarding analytics topics within the dedicated Teams community
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's +4/+5 degree in business, commerce, digital marketing, or equivalent university programme
- Prior internship or project experience in e-commerce, digital transformation, or project management
- Demonstrated proficiency with web performance tools such as Google Analytics 4 or ContentSquare
- Hands-on experience with dashboarding platforms including Power BI or Looker Studio
- Familiarity with optimization tools such as Dynamic Yield
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in French and English
Skills
Experience
Entry-level internship or early-career project experience in digital commerce or e-commerce environments preferred; primary focus on learning and contribution rather than extensive prior experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree +4 or +5 (Bac +4/+5) in business, commerce, digital marketing, or equivalent university-level qualification.
