Guerlain Internship – Assistant Key Account Manager for Europe Department in Paris. 6-month stage, supporting key retail accounts and commercial strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for e-retailers' commercial teams, Guerlain Europe teams, and local market stakeholders, ensuring alignment with centralized business strategy while respecting local market specificities
- Support negotiation preparation and oversee commercial terms definition and proactive follow-up
- Coordinate trade and e-trade plans for the accounts, managing distribution strategy, assortment, stock efficiency, and promotional activities in partnership with digital and marketing teams
- Analyze retailer performance against targets and implement corrective action plans; prepare weekly, monthly, and year-to-date sales reports with performance analysis and optimization recommendations
- Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory health and recommend trade plan alignments compatible with both retailer and brand strategies
- Deliver exceptional client service through clear written and verbal communication, day-to-day agility, and relationship-building with markets and retailers
- Facilitate stakeholder communication across Guerlain's organization, supporting global launch alignment and collaborating with Marketing, Digital, Merchandising, and Finance teams at regional and headquarters levels
Qualifications
- Business school degree or equivalent (Bac +4/5) or equivalent higher education qualification
- Previous experience as Key Account Assistant or Category Manager Assistant strongly preferred
- Demonstrated sensitivity to beauty and luxury industries
- Fluency in both French and English (mandatory)
- Excellent analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Organized and results-oriented mindset
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Entry-level or recent graduate; prior experience as a Key Account or Category Management assistant valued but not required.
Education
Business school degree or equivalent (Bac +4/5).
