Guerlain Paris internship: Assistant Business Analyst supporting Key Accounts strategy, assortment planning, and commercial analytics. 6-month stage beginning January 2027.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with category management and key account managers on assortment selections across distribution channels in alignment with marketing strategy and sales potential
  • Develop and present sales arguments to clients regarding makeup, skincare, and fragrance range segmentation
  • Monitor and oversee assortment implementation in point-of-sale locations via tracking dashboards
  • Establish and maintain distribution measurement tracking systems for assortment by product reference and retailer
  • Conduct ad hoc assortment analyses as required
  • Forecast sell-in placement for three-month new product launches on core lines, limited editions, and gift set campaigns in coordination with KAMs and category marketing teams
  • Co-define product launch quotas by retailer with KAMs and monitor placement performance by channel
  • Manage out-of-stocks (RACs): track performance and implement corrective action plans
  • Support product discontinuation planning by establishing end-of-life dates for each retailer
  • Contribute to defining periodic promotional offers in support of KAM teams
  • Coordinate annual pricing strategy for France distribution in consultation with international pricing teams, category marketing, and the Key Accounts Director
  • Contribute to assortment differentiation planning during annual business plans
  • Analyze sell-out and sell-in performance and provide recommendations to the Key Accounts Director
  • Support internal sales initiatives including LVMH Group employee sales and LVMHappening events, with dual objectives of revenue growth and inventory reduction
  • Provide analytical support to the Key Accounts Director for business reviews, sales force reviews, and budget reviews

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Bac+4/+5 programme in business school or equivalent university degree
  • Financial or business analytics background
  • Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Excel (pivot tables, V-lookup functions)
  • Familiarity with analytical and reporting tools (Klee, Okalys, Newvizz, Orion sell-out systems preferred but not required)
