Guerlain Area Sales Manager (CDD) in Paris — contract role to drive sell‑out, retail activations and merchandising across Île‑de‑France.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive sell‑out and achieve revenue targets for the assigned territory in line with France regional objectives.
  • Plan and deliver sales days according to the regional calendar; execute scheduled store visits and additional visits by cluster.
  • Activate and coordinate in‑store initiatives with HQ teams (trade marketing, merchandising) and follow up with store contacts and commercial referents.
  • Design and implement local commercial actions with the regional director to maximise brand visibility and business impact (including self‑managed activations and in‑store challenges).
  • Conduct business reviews with store management at each visit; analyse sell‑out, market share, ranking by axis/franchise, stock levels and average basket to identify opportunities.
  • Ensure product availability (new launches and key leaders), escalate shortages, and monitor stock replenishment.
  • Train and coach store teams on product launches, best‑sellers and the Maison’s brand DNA to elevate client experience.
  • Ensure strict compliance with merchandising directives (planograms, visual standards) and maintain a zero‑defect retail environment that reflects Guerlain’s image.

  • Result‑ and customer‑oriented with strong commercial instincts.
  • Good mastery of sales techniques and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and the ability to present concise, relevant information.
  • Organised, able to prioritise and plan territory activity autonomously.
