Guerlain seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant in Paris for a full-time role managing supplier portfolios and accounting processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices for compliance with purchase orders, delivery notes, and VAT regulations
- Match and reconcile supplier accounts, ensuring accuracy of all vendor records
- Prepare and monitor payment schedules in accordance with commercial terms and internal policies
- Investigate and resolve supplier disputes, manage collection follow-ups, and address payment discrepancies
- Verify supplier accounts and prepare supporting documentation for monthly and annual account closures
- Create and maintain comprehensive supplier master data records with current banking details (RIB)
- Implement internal control procedures across the vendor database and payment processing functions
- Participate actively in cross-functional accounting projects, including ERP optimization, process standardization, and digital transformation initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency within accounts payable functions
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities in coordination with the broader finance team
Qualifications
- Baccalauréat +2/+3 qualification in accounting (BTS, DUT, or Licence Professionnelle)
- Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience in a similar accounts payable or supplier accounting role
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, particularly SAP
- Strong attention to detail with demonstrated reliability and organizational discipline
- Ability to manage multiple supplier relationships with professionalism and discretion
- Excellent interpersonal skills for vendor negotiations and internal cross-functional collaboration

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounts payable, vendor accounting, or a closely related financial operations role within a structured corporate environment.
Education
Baccalauréat +2/+3 in accounting or related discipline (e.g., BTS Comptabilité Gestion, DUT Gestion des Entreprises et des Administrations, Licence Professionnelle Comptabilité).
