Guerlain Account Manager (Part-time, 0.8 FTE) in Colchester – lead retail sales, customer experience, and team management at Fenwick.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an exceptional customer experience by exemplifying Guerlain's unique sales methodology and service standards
  • Manage and achieve retail performance KPIs (qualitative and quantitative), including revenue targets and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Ensure prompt and efficient resolution of customer service issues, disputes, and complaints
  • Implement Guerlain's commercial policy and contribute to the construction and achievement of sales objectives and P&L management
  • Analyze, report on, and share business KPIs; drive the development of action plans and strategic initiatives
  • Recruit, train, integrate, and develop employees in alignment with Guerlain's core values and operational standards
  • Establish team trust and positive energy through regular briefings, meetings, performance monitoring, and coaching
  • Define individual and team objectives, evaluate performance, identify training needs, and support continuous skill development
  • Supervise administrative management including scheduling, payroll administration, bonuses, training coordination, and interim staffing
  • Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, supply management, and vendor relations
  • Manage risk including physical security, cash handling, and inventory control
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained and actively participate in merchandising implementation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of retail management or account management experience in a luxury environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach teams with strong managerial presence and decision-making courage
  • Innate sense of customer service excellence and strong interpersonal skills
  • Result-oriented and customer-focused mindset with proven commercial sensitivity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of business management applications or retail management systems
  • Exemplary professional demeanor, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and administrative capability
