Gucci Team Manager role in Singapore. Lead a team of Client Advisors delivering luxury retail excellence through coaching, clienteling, and business development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of Client Advisors on the shop floor, providing real-time feedback and support to ensure consistent service excellence and adherence to company standards
  • Conduct regular performance conversations and monthly reviews with team members, developing action plans and discussing results to drive motivation and professional growth
  • Drive clienteling activities and full utilization of client engagement tools to activate, retain, and grow client bases, developing actionable strategies to achieve KPIs
  • Lead from the shop floor by actively selling and role modelling the selling ceremony, managing customer flow to ensure no client is left unattended
  • Monitor and analyze category performance, proactively proposing action plans to meet sales targets and partnering with Store Management and Merchandising teams
  • Support store opening and closing procedures as Manager on Duty, and lead Store Morning Briefings to communicate business priorities and daily objectives
  • Participate in attracting, recruiting, and onboarding high-performing team members; manage employee lifecycle activities through Workday and local administrative platforms
  • Partner with Human Resources and the Store Manager on employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Training teams to maximize category potential, maintain merchandising guidelines, and ensure comprehensive product knowledge across the team
  • Develop cross-category and floor working expertise within the team, enabling advisors to sell across all product categories and floors

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in retail or service industry, preferably with a proven track record in luxury fashion
  • Direct people management experience with teams of 6–7 members
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with demonstrated ability to manage teams to high operational standards
  • Curiosity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in team interactions
  • Independent decision-maker with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Well-groomed and professional presentation
  • Passionate about developing a career within the luxury fashion industry

Experience

Education

Secondary education or equivalent; tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Retail Management, or a related field are advantageous.
