Gucci Team Manager position in Singapore leading Client Advisors with retail management and luxury fashion expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of 6-7 Client Advisors, fostering a positive environment of trust, integrity and superior performance standards
- Work on the shop floor in constant contact with the team, providing support, coaching and real-time feedback to ensure consistent client experience delivery
- Conduct regular and monthly performance conversations, discussing results and developing action plans for team members
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and talent development of high-performing Client Advisors
- Manage the employee lifecycle through both Workday systems and local administrative procedures, in partnership with Human Resources
- Monitor team adherence to company policies and procedures, addressing deviations promptly
- Lead the execution of clienteling activities and campaigns, utilizing digital tools to activate, retain and grow client relationships
- Lead from the shop floor, actively demonstrating the selling ceremony and managing customer flow to ensure no client is left unattended
- Manage and resolve customer issues with discretion, maintaining and strengthening client relationships
- Monitor performance against assigned product categories and propose action plans to reach established targets
- Provide feedback to Merchandising and Visual Merchandising teams on product performance, stock requirements, and market opportunities
- Partner with Store Management and Training teams to ensure Client Advisors develop comprehensive product knowledge and market awareness
- Support store opening and closing procedures as Manager on Duty
- Lead Store Morning Briefings to communicate key business priorities and daily objectives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in retail or hospitality, preferably within luxury fashion
- Direct people management experience with teams of 6+ preferred
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Strong decision-making abilities and independent judgment
- Proficiency with Workday or similar HR management systems
- Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising guidelines, and clienteling best practices
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in retail or service industry, with preference for luxury fashion background. Direct people management experience with small teams is strongly preferred.
