Gucci Team Manager in New York (Saks Fifth Avenue) — lead the retail team to deliver luxury client experiences and drive sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the selling-floor team to deliver an elevated, hospitality-driven client experience and embody Gucci’s brand values.
- Coach, mentor and provide real-time feedback to Client Advisors to improve selling techniques, product knowledge and clienteling performance.
- Drive client acquisition and loyalty through effective use of clienteling tools and digital platforms; lead client events and product launches to meet attendance and sales objectives.
- Oversee daily store operations: manage client flow, special orders, merchandising feedback, inventory and visual standards in partnership with Store Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Manage people processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance & development conversations, staffing schedules, and employee relations in coordination with People Partners and Store Managers.
- Analyze store KPIs and category performance; propose and implement action plans with Store Managers and Merchandising to achieve targets and optimize results.
- Act as Manager on Duty for opening/closing shifts when required, ensuring compliance with health, safety and loss-prevention policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail or a service-related industry.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and retain high-performing retail teams; strong leadership presence on the selling floor.
- Proven track record of driving client experience initiatives and measurable sales results.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity and business acumen; ability to influence across functions.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Skills
Experience
At least 4 years of progressive sales management experience in retail or luxury retail, with demonstrable results in team leadership, clienteling and KPI-driven performance.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 95,000 to USD 105,000 per annum.
