Gucci Team Manager role in London (Selfridges): lead a shopfloor sales team, drive clienteling and hit category targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and mentor a team of Client Advisors on the shopfloor to ensure consistently exceptional client service and brand standards.
- Monitor sales and performance of assigned product categories and develop proactive action plans to achieve business targets.
- Drive and oversee clienteling activities, designing initiatives to acquire, activate, retain and grow a high-value client base.
- Recruit, onboard and develop a high-performing showroom team in partnership with Store Leadership and Training.
- Provide regular coaching, feedback and performance management to Client Advisors to support career progression and maintain engagement.
- Partner with the Store Director, Training team and HR to ensure advisors possess full product knowledge, market awareness and adherence to employee relations procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Team or Department Manager within the luxury fashion or premium retail sector.
- Demonstrable track record of driving sales and delivering against commercial KPIs with actionable planning.
- Strong talent management skills with experience in coaching, developing and motivating retail teams.
- Excellent verbal communication and time-management skills; ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial awareness, business acumen and a genuine passion for luxury fashion.

Proven managerial experience leading a retail sales team in the luxury fashion industry, with a track record of meeting commercial targets and executing clienteling strategies.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational or higher education in retail, business or a related discipline is advantageous.
