Gucci seeks a Team Manager at Harrods in London to lead the shopfloor team and drive category sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and inspire the shopfloor sales team to deliver exceptional client service and achieve commercial targets for assigned product categories.
- Monitor category performance and develop proactive action plans — including visual, merchandising and clienteling initiatives — to drive sales, margin and key KPIs.
- Oversee and coordinate clienteling activities; design targeted initiatives to activate, retain and develop a high-value client base.
- Recruit, onboard and develop talent within the department; conduct regular performance reviews and implement coaching to raise capability and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Store Director and Training team to ensure Client Advisors attain comprehensive product knowledge and remain informed of market trends and competitor activity.
- Partner with Store Director and Human Resources to manage employee relations matters and ensure timely, effective resolution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Team or Department Manager within the luxury fashion sector, preferably with contemporary or fashion-forward brands.
- Demonstrable ability to drive retail results, with strong organisational skills and commercial acumen.
- Proven track record in people development, coaching and performance management.
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness and the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-oriented retail environment.

Proven experience managing a retail team or department within the luxury fashion industry, with a record of achieving sales targets and developing high-performing teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or professional qualification in Business, Retail Management, Fashion or a related discipline is preferred.
