Gucci Team Manager role in Charlotte, NC. Lead luxury retail team, drive client experience, and manage store operations for this fashion-forward luxury brand.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the team to execute superior client experiences, ensuring each Client Advisor operates with hospitality and elevated service standards
  • Capture and analyze meaningful client data to build relationships and personalize prospect development opportunities through effective clienteling activities
  • Monitor Client Advisor performance and develop daily, weekly, and monthly action plans to ensure clienteling excellence and achievement of KPIs
  • Lead by example on the selling floor, embodying the Gucci selling ceremony and modeling appropriate wardrobe and presence per company grooming guidelines
  • Manage client flow on the selling floor to ensure exceptional service delivery and resolve client service issues to retain and enrich client relationships
  • Provide ongoing support, coaching, and regular feedback to Client Advisors, leveraging behavioral observation and Training Follow-up App for continuous development
  • Conduct annual Performance and Development Conversations and regular monthly performance discussions to drive engagement and career growth
  • Lead engaging morning briefings and daily objectives using varied facilitation techniques to communicate key business information
  • Develop and lead cross-category selling focus, ensuring the team can effectively sell all categories across all floors
  • Participate in attracting, recruiting, and interviewing new team members while maintaining a talent pipeline through competitive headhunting
  • Ensure effective, holistic, and timely onboarding for new joiners and manage employee-relations matters in partnership with Store Managers and People Partners
  • Monitor team adherence to company policies and procedures, following up as needed
  • Monitor assigned category performance and store KPIs, proactively proposing action plans to reach targets
  • Partner with Store Managers and Merchandising to provide product feedback, stock situation updates, and category-specific requests to drive business growth
  • Analyze store results and KPIs in detail, providing recommendations and actionable improvement plans
  • Partner with Store Managers and Training teams to ensure Client Advisors develop full product knowledge and maintain awareness of market trends and competitors
  • Utilize digital platforms to support store and online product sales, and oversee tracking of special orders
  • Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, and Loss Prevention departments while adhering to all company policies
  • Plan and schedule FTE according to team members' capabilities and traffic flow to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Support and maintain visual merchandising standards set by worldwide headquarters
  • Maintain full organization of company assets in back-of-house and front-of-house per company stock guidelines
  • Execute product handling, transactions, payment processes, and general store administration
  • Support opening and closing of the store as Manager on Duty, providing leadership and guidance to all Client Advisors on shift
  • Optimize stock and inventory management, monitoring and reporting any risks

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4+ years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and demonstrated ability to inspire trust and influence a team
  • Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
  • Strong business acumen and industry awareness
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities
  • Passion for the fashion industry
