Role & Responsibilities

  • Create the first prototype garment following design specifications.
  • Evaluate and implement garment adjustments to enhance fit, collaborating with the Ready To Wear Samples Coordinator and the team of pattern makers and technicians.
  • Revise garments based on fitting feedback.
  • Construct sample garments for collections.
  • Produce pre-production industrialized garments.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in garment production processes and various stages of garment construction.
  • Diploma in fashion technology or tailoring.

Skills

Proficiency in operating sewing machinery such as overlock and straight stitch machines. Strong knowledge of fabrics and yarns. Experience in garment pressing. Ability to swiftly and accurately interpret patterns. Effective organizational and planning skills. Fluent in Italian and a second language.

Experience

Extensive experience in the garment production cycle and sample making.

Education

Diploma in fashion technology or tailoring.
