Gucci Supply Chain Management Assistant (1-year fixed-term) in Seoul. Manage inventory allocation and stock replenishment across regional retail network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Allocate and replenish stock from regional DC to stores according to target parameters, maximizing profit and stock turn
- Execute stock allocation on the principles of Right Product, Right Quantity, Right Place, Right Time
- Maintain correct balance of inventory in stores according to assortment matrix and coverage targets
- Evaluate stock allocation and distribution based on sales, distribution plans, and rationing criteria to maximize service level
- Support Planning Manager by delivering data-driven proposals and analysis on key business decisions
- Interface with worldwide supply chain teams to ensure alignment with global supply plans
- Monitor and control store sales and stock levels across the region; review daily allocation performance
- Analyze and propose adjustments to allocation plans based on current trends, store performance, and retail feedback
- Review product performance daily and weekly to optimize inventory investment by store and drive sales
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to understand lead times, picking and packing logistics, and delivery schedules
- Partner with Merchandising and retail teams to understand priorities and address market-specific requests
- Rebalance stock between stores during season transition periods based on performance analysis and store strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Access, and BI tools for performance and KPI monitoring
- Sound commercial understanding of luxury retail operations
- Bilingual fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy and numerical aptitude
- Mature, positive, and proactive mindset
Skills
Experience
Experience in supply chain, inventory management, or logistics is preferred. Familiarity with merchandising systems and regional distribution operations is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree required. Coursework in supply chain management, operations, business administration, or related disciplines is beneficial.
