Gucci Team Manager position in Saint Louis, Missouri. Lead luxury retail sales team and deliver exceptional client experiences. Full-time store management role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the team to execute a superior client experience with hospitality and elevated service standards on the selling floor
  • Capture meaningful client data to personalize prospect development opportunities and build long-term loyalty
  • Effectively utilize clienteling tools to drive client acquisition and retention whilst leading daily activities aligned with clear goals and KPIs
  • Monitor Client Advisor performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to ensure clienteling excellence and exceptional service delivery
  • Lead company-driven local events and product launches, ensuring client attendance and sales targets are achieved
  • Demonstrate mastery of the Gucci selling ceremony by modeling best practices and leading by example
  • Manage client flow on the selling floor to ensure all clients receive exceptional service and engagement
  • Resolve client service issues with the objective of retaining and enriching client relationships
  • Develop and maintain deep market knowledge of competitors and local prospects whilst staying attuned to regional trends
  • Support the annual Performance and Development Conversations with direct reports, ensuring quality dialogue and career growth
  • Conduct regular performance conversations to discuss results, identify opportunities, and develop actionable improvement plans
  • Lead engaging morning briefings utilizing varied facilitation techniques to communicate daily business objectives
  • Develop cross-category selling focus, ensuring the team can and does sell all product categories across all floors
  • Participate in recruiting and talent attraction by conducting behavioral-based interviews and building a competitive talent pipeline
  • Ensure effective and timely onboarding for new team members
  • Manage employee relations matters in partnership with Store Managers and People Partners
  • Monitor team adherence to company policies and procedures, following up as needed
  • Analyze store performance data (KPIs, RED, people metrics, etc.) and partner with the Store Manager to provide recommendations and improvement plans
  • Partner with Store Managers and the Merchandising team to provide product feedback, stock assessments, and category-specific requests to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with Store Managers and the Training team to ensure Client Advisors develop comprehensive product knowledge and market awareness
  • Utilize digital platforms to support both in-store and online product sales
  • Oversee and support tracking of all special orders through merchandising communication
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Loss Prevention, and cross-functional departments whilst adhering to and enforcing all company policies
  • Coordinate FTE scheduling with Store Managers according to team capabilities and traffic flow to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Allocate tasks and responsibilities based on individual abilities and delegate effectively
  • Support and maintain visual merchandising standards established by headquarters
  • Maintain full organization of company assets in back-of-house and front-of-house per stock guidelines
  • Support and execute product handling, payment transactions, and general store administration
  • Provide leadership and guidance during opening and closing of the store as Manager on Duty
  • Optimize stock and inventory management whilst monitoring and reporting any risks
  • Ensure optimal and consistent adherence to health, safety, and security standards in partnership with Store Managers
  • Model Gucci image through appropriate wardrobe and presence in accordance with company grooming guidelines

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity with the ability to inspire trust and influence a team
  • Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Industry awareness and strong business acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational abilities
  • Passion for the fashion industry
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experience

4+ years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries. Demonstrated success leading teams to achieve sales targets, develop client loyalty, and create exceptional in-store experiences. Proven track record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent in a luxury environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
