Gucci Team Manager at Auckland store. Lead luxury retail team, drive client engagement and sales performance in dynamic Queen Street location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the retail team to deliver exceptional, personalized luxury service aligned with Gucci brand values and selling ceremony
- Coach, mentor, and develop Client Advisors through regular feedback, performance conversations, and daily briefings
- Drive client engagement through clienteling initiatives, events, and product launches to build long-term loyalty
- Monitor and analyse sales performance, KPIs, and category results; develop and implement action plans to achieve store and individual targets
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top talent; partner with HR on employee relations matters
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including team rostering, store opening/closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising standards
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, health and safety standards, and brand guidelines across both front and back of house
- Resolve client concerns with focus on strengthening relationships and maintaining brand reputation
- Collaborate with internal departments including Merchandising, HR, and Loss Prevention to optimize business outcomes
Qualifications
- 4+ years of retail management experience, preferably in luxury or premium retail environments
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets
- Passion for delivering outstanding client experiences and embodying luxury service culture
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Professional, ethical character with the ability to influence credibly
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including weekends and public holidays
- Genuine passion for fashion and deep understanding of the luxury market

Experience
4+ years of retail management experience, ideally in luxury or premium retail environments with demonstrated success in leading teams and achieving sales performance targets.
