Gucci Store Planning Procurement Manager role in New York. Direct strategic sourcing and vendor management across Americas retail construction. $90K–$110K USD annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct comprehensive sourcing strategies and vendor selection processes for general contractors, architects, and specialty millworkers across the Americas
- Organize complex RFx events, execute bid leveling, and lead high-stakes vendor negotiations
- Collaborate with legal counsel to draft, refine, and execute Master Service Agreements and contracts
- Develop and maintain a centralized construction contractor database with performance tracking and remediation protocols
- Identify and capture strategic cost-saving opportunities through advanced spend analysis and quantity surveying principles
- Apply rigorous budget adherence and value extraction methodologies to all construction projects
- Transform complex procurement data into actionable insights and develop advanced analytical reports for regional and global leadership
- Streamline the procure-to-pay lifecycle, implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and financial compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Kering Supplier Code of Conduct across all indirect suppliers in the Americas
- Integrate Corporate Social Responsibility objectives into the standard RFx process
- Build cross-functional alliances across Maisons and business functions to promote procurement best practices
- Partner with Global Store Planning Procurement to implement and strengthen regional procurement policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive, high-impact experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
- Proven mastery of complex RFx processes, advanced negotiation tactics, and end-to-end contract management in commercial construction or real estate development
- Exceptional project management skills with demonstrated success in highly matrixed, cross-functional corporate environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint for executive-level data modeling
- Direct procurement experience within luxury retail real estate or high-end store construction sectors preferred
- Deep practical knowledge of quantity surveying and rigorous construction cost management
- Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or RICS
- Hands-on experience with enterprise e-procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba or Coupa
- Understanding of global trade regulations and international sourcing dynamics
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership
