The Store Operations Manager leads operational excellence at Gucci’s Serravalle Scrivia store, managing store procedures, operational support, stockroom processes, asset protection, health and safety, housekeeping, digital initiatives and the Operations team. The role is classified under the CCNL del Terziario, della Distribuzione e dei Servizi (H011), 1st level, employee category; gross annual salary is up to €45,000, with an annual target bonus of up to 25% of gross annual salary under company policies.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead store operational excellence, ensuring procedures are commercially managed to deliver an efficient customer experience to the highest standard.
  • Support the Store Manager and Associate Store Manager with policies and procedures that streamline and safeguard the store.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the store, both front and back of house.
  • Manage sales-floor efficiency through operational support roles, including cashiers, wrappers and runners, ensuring they support the sales floor effectively and enhance customer experience and sales.
  • Ensure adequate operational support and optimize staff schedules to match customer traffic flows and operational demands.
  • Manage the stockroom and related policies and processes, including deliveries, potentially overnight, dispatches and inventory.
  • Assist the Store Manager and Associate Store Manager in overseeing asset and profit protection, influencing service delivery and minimizing loss.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and processes.
  • Maintain the store building and all internal areas to the highest standard, front and back of house, including store housekeeping.
  • Drive the digital strategy and ensure employees engage with new digital initiatives; embrace new technology and respond flexibly to leverage technology initiatives across the store.
  • Recruit, onboard and develop store operational support staff; lead the store Operations team and foster a coaching environment.
  • Cascade company communications to all store team members and lead by example in embracing brand messages.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, embodying Gucci’s core values.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position is up to EUR 45,000 per annum.
