Gucci is hiring a Store Operations Manager in Boston (Copley) to lead store operations, inventory and team performance. Salary range: $85,000–$88,000/year.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the store operations team to deliver operational excellence and consistent adherence to Gucci standards.
  • Act as a store leader alongside the Store Director, serving in Manager-on-Duty rotation and supporting floor coverage, client transactions, opening and closing procedures.
  • Manage inventory accuracy and stockroom efficiency: oversee cycle counts, scheduled inventories, reconciliation and the timely movement of merchandise (transfers, damages, repairs).
  • Oversee shipping and receiving processes, report and resolve discrepancies, and maintain clear operations documentation and procedures.
  • Train new hires and existing staff on operating policies, coaching direct reports in operations, customer service and sales support.
  • Liaise with corporate functions (Operations, Inventory Planning, Inventory Control, Accounts Payable) and support regional initiatives including store openings, closures and remodels; travel as required.
  • Identify operational process gaps, propose commercially minded improvements and implement corrective actions; maintain store supplies and support boutique maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–7 years of operations experience in retail, luxury retail, or a service-related industry, preferably with supervisory responsibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical ability to identify business priorities, solve problems and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally for store openings, closures and remodels.

Experience

At least 5–7 years of progressive operations experience in retail or luxury retail, including supervisory or managerial responsibility; demonstrated experience with inventory control, stockroom management and participation in store openings/closings or remodels.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
