Gucci Store Manager role in Paris, France. Lead boutique operations, drive sales performance, and manage teams at the luxury fashion maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including facility management, maintenance, stock control, and security protocols
- Develop and train the team on Gucci's brand heritage, product knowledge, and sales techniques to drive continuous skill enhancement
- Conduct annual performance reviews and manage personnel administration in collaboration with Human Resources, including scheduling, absence management, and leave planning
- Organize and coordinate team workflows while maintaining adherence to procedures and timelines
- Optimize sales performance by analyzing commercial indicators and KPIs (conversion rates, average transaction value, items per ticket) to meet or exceed financial targets
- Review financial reports and implement adjustments to increase revenue and profitability
- Execute CRM initiatives and develop the store's customer database through proper procedures and client engagement
- Monitor inventory meticulously to minimize shrinkage and losses; manage merchandise reception and shipping in compliance with pricing and labeling procedures
- Maintain adequate stock levels through systematic reordering and ensure products are presented according to Gucci's visual identity standards
- Control payroll by tracking employee hours and labour costs, aligning staffing levels with commercial activity
- Partner with the Visual Merchandising team to communicate store-specific needs and requirements
- Participate in recruitment of team members alongside the Human Resources department
- Plan and oversee inventory preparations and processes
- Create a dynamic retail environment and compelling sales experience by properly engaging and training staff
- Act as liaison between store operations and management, coordinating cross-departmental communication
- Communicate daily performance results, quantitative and qualitative objectives to managers, and coach teams toward achievement
- Foster a collaborative workplace culture that encourages constructive communication among team members
- Deliver exceptional in-store experiences that meet client needs and build loyalty
- Ensure products reflect Gucci's visual identity and brand narrative in all presentations
- Enforce visual merchandising standards in compliance with brand guidelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing retail operations in a luxury environment
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive sales and profitability
- Excellent team leadership and people management capabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures
- Understanding of visual merchandising principles and brand presentation standards
- Experience with CRM systems and customer relationship management
- Financial literacy and ability to interpret reports and KPIs
- Knowledge of HR administration and personnel management processes

Experience
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive retail management experience in a luxury or high-end retail environment, with demonstrated success in driving sales growth, managing teams, and implementing brand standards.
Education
Secondary education required; bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or related field preferred.
