Gucci seeks a Store Manager in Amsterdam to deliver store sales and profitability goals and strengthen the brand. The role leads sales and client development, team engagement and coaching, operational effectiveness, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develops and implements action plans to grow sales across product categories and client segments.
• Articulates the vision through strategy and implementation, establishing priorities.
• Monitors profit-and-loss costs and retail KPIs to maximize store turnover.
• Ensures business goals and strategic projects are achieved, maintaining ongoing contact with corporate functions.
• Builds a client-centric culture to maximize existing customer relationships and expand the client base, encouraging a client-centric approach across the team.
• Builds an effective team by engaging, retaining, evaluating and developing employees.
• Promotes effective coaching for direct reports.
• Connects with peers to build an effective, collaborative network.
• Shares feedback with HR on employee turnover, internal promotion and mobility, and talent mapping, taking personnel costs into consideration.
• Ensures the store is managed economically and operationally effectively, in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Maintains and shares in-depth knowledge of the luxury market, along with a passion for it.
• Monitors store visit, mystery shopping and internal and external audit results.
• Ensures achievement of the store’s sales and profitability goals and promotes and enhances the Gucci brand in line with corporate policies and procedures.
