Gucci Store Director role in São Paulo: lead luxury boutique operations, sales, client experience, and team development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the store team in delivering superior client-centric service and after-sales experiences to achieve consistent high client satisfaction
- Drive sales performance to consistently achieve overall sales targets and KPIs whilst maintaining operational integrity and monthly profitability optimization
- Develop, implement, and execute company CRM initiatives by guiding the team to devise effective action plans and personalized client development opportunities
- Partner with the Client Engagement team to leverage business development opportunities using a top-client strategy to retain and develop high-potential clients, with focus on the Top 100
- Demonstrate active sales leadership on the sales floor by coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house activities and engaging with top clients
- Act as a role model embodying passionate attitude and demonstrating highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and servant leadership with people and clients
- Assist and guide team management in performance development, ensuring high engagement of top performers and effective improvement of underperformers
- Elevate team performance through providing ongoing timely feedback, on-the-job coaching, and quality career conversations during annual Performance and Development Reviews
- Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team and build a talent pipeline through networking and competitive headhunting
- Oversee and manage stock levels to maximize full-price selling and maintain high sell-through aligned with new product launches
- Ensure rollout of training priorities so all people are fully educated on brand pillars and seasonal strategy
- Maintain Visual Merchandising standards set by the Global VM team whilst ensuring optimal adherence to health, safety, and security protocols
- Represent the Gucci image through appropriate wardrobe and presence per company grooming standards and ensure team adherence
- Manage Loss Prevention self-audits, monthly cycle counts, incident reporting, and inventory reconciliations to ensure shrinkage remains below company target
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team
- Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to business needs
- Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Industry awareness, commercial knowledge, and strong business and financial acumen
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industries, with demonstrated track record of driving sales performance, leading high-performing teams, and delivering exceptional client experiences in a luxury or premium retail environment.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
