Gucci seeks a Store Director in Pittsburgh to lead retail operations, client experience and team development for its boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and floor leadership to deliver store results, optimise business performance and achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Lead people development: recruit, coach and retain a high-performing store team through performance management, on-the-job coaching and annual development reviews.
- Define and execute client experience and CRM initiatives, ensuring full utilisation of clienteling tools and personalised client development plans (focus on Top 100 clients).
- Plan and deliver local store marketing, company-sponsored events and product launches to drive client attendance and sales.
- Manage inventory and merchandise flow to maximise full-price selling, maintain high sell-through and align stock with new product launches.
- Oversee store operations including payroll submission, loss-prevention audits, monthly cycle counts, incident reporting and inventory reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to Visual Merchandising standards, health & safety, security policies and Gucci grooming/wardrobe guidelines.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between FoH and BoH to guarantee exemplary service, after-sales support and operational integrity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail or service-related industries.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with strong ethics, professionalism and servant leadership.
- Demonstrable commercial and financial acumen with the ability to analyse selling reports, identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment and to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 7 years in sales management roles within retail, luxury retail or service sectors, with a proven track record of driving store sales, managing P&L-related responsibilities, developing client strategies and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
