Gucci Store Director position in Johannesburg, South Africa. Lead luxury retail operations, manage high-performing teams, and drive business growth.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of store operations and business performance to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives
- Create and sustain a distinctive client experience through relationship management, personal clienteling, and CRM activities
- Lead, mentor, and develop store staff to drive engagement, motivation, and continuous professional growth
- Ensure adherence to visual merchandising guidelines and maintain the highest standards of product display and store aesthetic
- Implement and monitor store operational procedures to guarantee efficiency, compliance, and seamless execution
- Serve as the primary brand ambassador, representing Gucci's values, heritage, and positioning to clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail store management or equivalent leadership role

Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in luxury retail, including proven success managing high-performing stores and driving business results. Prior experience managing teams, implementing client engagement strategies, and maintaining luxury brand standards is essential.
Education
Secondary education minimum; tertiary qualification in business administration, retail management, or related field preferred.
