Gucci seeks a Store Director in Houston, TX to lead boutique operations, drive sales and develop top-client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Houston boutique to achieve sales, profitability and KPI targets while ensuring operational integrity and compliance with company policies.
- Drive top-client development and retention strategies, oversee CRM initiatives and monitor database reporting to build personalised client relationships.
- Act as a visible sales leader on the floor—engaging key clients, supporting the team in meeting mystery shop and service standards.
- Recruit, develop and retain talent through coaching, performance management, onboarding and creation of individual development plans.
- Manage inventory, stock levels and merchandise flow in coordination with central teams to maximise full-price sell-through and support launches.
- Control store expenses and uphold the store operating budget, including payroll submission, accounts payable and cost reduction efforts.
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention procedures, cycle counts, reconciliations and company asset management protocols.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards and front/back-of-house organisation as defined by worldwide headquarters.
- Plan and execute local events and community outreach to increase brand presence and client attendance.
Qualifications
- Minimum seven years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail or a service-related industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales performance, client development and delivering measurable business results.
- Ability to analyse selling reports, identify trends and implement rapid remedial or growth actions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organisational ability and high business acumen.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; proper work authorization for the United States.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Experience
Minimum of 7 years of progressive sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or a closely related service industry with responsibility for people leadership and store P&L.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
