Gucci Store Director role in Charleston, USA. Lead luxury retail operations, drive sales performance, and build an exceptional client experience team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the store team in delivering superior client-centric service and after-sales experience to achieve consistent high satisfaction levels
  • Drive sales performance by coordinating front-of-house and back-of-house activities, engaging top clients on the sales floor, and ensuring the highest level of hospitality
  • Develop and execute company CRM initiatives, leading the team to devise effective action plans and personalized client development opportunities
  • Partner with the Client Engagement team to leverage business development opportunities through top-client strategy, with special focus on VIP retention and development
  • Champion utilization of clienteling tools to drive client loyalty and acquisition
  • Manage team performance and development, ensuring high engagement of top performers and effective improvement of underperformers
  • Act as a role model by embodying passionate attitude and demonstrating highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and servant leadership
  • Provide ongoing timely feedback, on-the-job coaching, and career development conversations to elevate team performance
  • Attract, recruit, and retain high-performing talent through networking and competitive headhunting
  • Oversee consistent and timely Gucci onboarding experience for all new hires
  • Maximize sales performance to consistently achieve overall sales targets and KPIs while ensuring operational integrity and monthly profitability optimization
  • Oversee stock level management to maximize full-price selling and maintain high sell-through aligned with new product launches
  • Ensure rollout of training priorities so all team members are fully educated on brand pillars and seasonal strategy
  • Consistently drive company KPIs by guiding and challenging teams to create and implement strategies when performance standards are not met
  • Adhere to and oversee adherence to company policies and procedures including Operations, People, and Security
  • Comply with all Loss Prevention self-audits, monthly cycle counts, incident reporting, and inventory reconciliations
  • Provide accurate monthly schedules and timely payroll submission for all employees
  • Maintain Visual Merchandising standards set by the Global VM team
  • Ensure optimal and consistent adherence to all health, safety, and security aspects
  • Monitor After Sales services in store and represent the Gucci image through appropriate wardrobe and professional presence

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred)
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to business needs
  • Proven ability to drive positive client experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business and financial acumen with industry awareness and commercial knowledge
  • Passion for the fashion industry
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
