Gucci is hiring a Store Director in Cancun to lead the boutique, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive store sales and exceed revenue targets through strategic planning, assortment focus and category optimisation.
- Analyse sales data and KPIs to identify trends, performance gaps and new business opportunities.
- Lead by example on the sales floor: engage directly with clients, build long-term client relationships and ensure superior service delivery.
- Recruit, develop and motivate a high-performing sales team through coaching, performance reviews and targeted training.
- Develop and execute client events and local collaborations to elevate brand visibility and acquire high-value customers.
- Oversee store operations including visual standards, inventory accuracy, loss prevention and compliance with brand procedures.
- Manage store budget, control costs and implement initiatives to improve profitability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in sales management within luxury retail or a closely related customer-facing industry.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing successful sales strategies and delivering sustained business growth.
- Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to recruit, coach and retain talent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and clienteling skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required by retail operations.
Skills
Experience
At least 10 years in sales management within the luxury retail sector or a closely related customer service industry, including demonstrated experience leading teams, creating sales strategies and managing store P&L.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Retail Management, Fashion or a related field preferred; advanced retail or management training is an advantage.
