Gucci — Stockroom Associate (CDD) in Saint-Tropez. Fixed-term role for merchandise receipt, replenishment and inventory management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming merchandise deliveries, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Manage stock replenishment: verify, sort and store products, maintain orderly and accessible stockroom layouts for current and past collections.
- Monitor daily on-floor inventory by size and colour and execute timely restocking to the sales floor.
- Prepare and coordinate store shipments, customer deliveries and inter-boutique transfers in liaison with the boutique director.
- Label merchandise and apply security tagging ('bippage') according to store procedures.
- Process returns and follow up on defective or non-conforming products.
- Participate in periodic physical inventories and investigate stock variances (shrinkage, unknown markdowns).
- Provide ad hoc support on the sales floor during peak periods (guest reception, merchandising touch-ups, light maintenance).
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and stage new display items.
Qualifications
- Proven attention to detail and accuracy in receiving, counting and recording merchandise.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain an optimal stockroom layout and retrieval system.
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow strict operational procedures.
- Physical ability to lift and move merchandise and to stand for extended periods during stock operations.
- Good interpersonal skills and willingness to assist the retail team when required.
Skills
Experience
Experience in stock handling, retail logistics or boutique stockroom operations is preferred; prior exposure to luxury fashion or premium retail environments is an advantage.
Education
Secondary-school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics/retail is a plus.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Saint-Tropez, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France, with easy access to Nice.
