Role & Responsibilities
- Lead creative ideation, design and seasonal development of soft accessories including scarves, hats and textile-based pieces.
- Translate Artistic Direction and seasonal themes into cohesive collection narratives, moodboards and color palettes.
- Produce detailed sketches, technical drawings and precise design specifications to guide Product Development and Production.
- Oversee the product development lifecycle from research and prototyping through final sample approval and production handover.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing and Production to ensure feasibility, quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct trend, market, material and archive research to inform continuous innovation and maintain brand heritage references.
- Balance creative expression with functionality, craftsmanship and commercial relevance to meet collection targets.
- Support and mentor junior designers, contributing to team development and creative excellence.
- Participate actively in collection reviews, fittings and internal presentations.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years’ proven experience as a designer within soft accessories or related categories in luxury fashion.
- Demonstrable creative vision with strong technical understanding of materials, construction and manufacturing processes.
- Deep knowledge of accessories development and sensitivity to luxury craftsmanship and finish.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, highly creative environment.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Proactive, curious and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving aptitude.
- Fluency in English.
Skills
Experience
Seven to ten years of progressive design experience in luxury soft accessories or closely related categories, with a track record of leading seasonal collections and delivering commercially successful product ranges.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, Product Design or equivalent; advanced study or specialized training in accessories design is desirable.
