Gucci seeks an experienced Silk & Soft Product Coordinator in Milan to manage collection development across multiple categories, overseeing timelines, samples, and cross-departmental coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate product development calendars and timelines across all product categories for each collection
  • Review and process all developed products by recording, distributing samples, and ensuring deadline adherence
  • Oversee the entire product development workflow from inspiration phase through to project delivery and final implementation
  • Support the Design Team in preparing Collection Overviews and review documentation
  • Prepare and coordinate meetings with the Artistic Director, ensuring all relevant samples and documents are organized and accessible
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive records of sketches, samples, and prototypes across shared drives, cloud systems, and physical archives
  • Process and prioritize collection-related requests from multiple departments and ensure timely delivery
  • Oversee the management, movement, and archival of reference and research garments, including request fulfillment
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between Product Development Teams and Merchandising departments
  • Attend and coordinate all fittings throughout the development cycle, from prototype stage to final product delivery

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in product coordination or similar capacity within apparel or textile industries
  • Expert knowledge of silk and soft product development processes
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in both Italian and English languages
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional stakeholder groups
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
