Gucci Senior Stock Controller – 6-month contract at Sloane Street, London. Manage inventory and stockroom operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage organisation of the stockroom according to Gucci directives and established procedures
- Plan and execute inventory operations while serving as a stakeholder in loss-prevention and mark-down monitoring
- Oversee receipt, tagging, and delivery of products, articles, and supplies
- Control and supervise all transfers and operational activities to ensure timely execution
- Ensure accurate replenishment and oversee the flow of goods between stockroom and sales floor
- Communicate daily with article rotation managers and propose remedial measures as required
- Serve as the store reference for stock techniques and procedures; identify and escalate training requirements to management
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a stockroom retail environment
- Proficiency with MS Office and demonstrated technology aptitude
- Ability to work varied hours and days, including weekends
- Strong organisational and supervisory skills
- Ability to work productively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
