Gucci Senior Client Advisor in New York. Lead luxury retail sales, build VIP client relationships, and achieve sales targets at the iconic Wooster Street location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with clients through best-in-class service and personalized engagement, both in-store and remotely
- Deliver an elevated, client-centric experience that fosters lasting relationships and drives repeat business and brand loyalty
- Build rapport by identifying client needs and aspirations, demonstrating generosity and exceeding expectations
- Recruit new clients and develop existing relationships to move them into higher tiers of the segmentation strategy
- Leverage in-store technology and tools to ensure seamless and relevant client experiences
- Collect and utilize meaningful client information to customize services and enhance the personalized experience
- Provide insights on local lifestyle trends to add value to the client journey
- Drive individual and collective sales results by monitoring KPIs and maximizing selling opportunities both in-store and remotely
- Deliver exceptional service through elevated selling techniques, luxury gestures, and product rituals
- Apply effective selling techniques in a warm, natural, and elevated manner to drive sales while maintaining a client-centric attitude
- Recommend products that match client needs through skillful cross-selling and upselling
- Promote virtual appointments and distance sales to expand revenue opportunities
- Maintain a unified 'One-Gucci-Client' perspective across all transactions including exchanges, returns, repairs, and other critical interactions
- Guide clients to make informed purchasing decisions aligned with their aspirations
- Foster open, collaborative communication with team members and propose effective solutions
- Resolve common client issues and needs as the first point of contact
- Engage clients through storytelling, expert product knowledge, and honest styling advice
- Attend product knowledge and selling technique trainings proactively
- Stay current on fashion trends, competitor activities, and client segmentation strategies
- Combine styling expertise with product knowledge to serve clients effectively

- Support the onboarding experience for new Client Advisors and facilitate training in collaboration with store management

- Process POS transactions accurately and ensure precise capture of client information
- Maintain visual displays of products according to Gucci standards
- Maintain company grooming standards in accordance with Gucci policies at all times

- Perform management functions including approval of client returns and exchanges as needed
- Execute opening and closing procedures, including asset security and key management as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of luxury fashion sales experience with an excellent track record
- Demonstrated experience in similar client-facing or customer service roles
- Passion and natural ability for relationship building and people engagement
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and ability to inspire trust and influence a team
- Proven ability to perform complex tasks with accuracy and commitment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teammates and serve as a role model

Skills
Experience
Minimum 4 years of luxury fashion sales experience with a proven track record of success, preferably in a similar senior client-facing or customer service role within the luxury retail environment. Prior experience demonstrating the ability to drive sales results, build and maintain high-value client relationships, and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously is essential.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional education in fashion, business, or related fields is a plus.
