Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and cultivate strong client relationships across all touchpoints—in-store and remote—delivering best-in-class service that makes clients feel valued from first contact
- Drive individual and collective sales results by monitoring KPIs, identifying selling opportunities, and leveraging effective cross-selling and upselling techniques
- Develop and expand the client base by recruiting new clients and advancing existing clients within segmentation tiers, while maintaining a unified 'One-Gucci-Client' perspective regardless of purchase channel
- Personalize the client experience by collecting and utilizing meaningful client information to understand preferences and customize service delivery, enhancing brand loyalty and repeat business
- Utilize in-store technology and CRM systems to ensure smooth, pleasant, and relevant client experiences throughout the customer journey
- Embody Gucci's philosophy, values, and lifestyle through expert product knowledge, storytelling, and honest styling advice that guides clients toward informed purchasing decisions
- Support onboarding and training initiatives for new Client Advisors in collaboration with store management, ensuring consistent brand understanding and implementation of brand initiatives
- Participate actively in all store operations, including stock maintenance, inventory management, visual merchandising standards, POS accuracy, and general store administration
- Adhere to all loss prevention and operational excellence policies, including grooming standards and security protocols such as safe combinations and asset securing
- Perform select management functions at the POS, including approvals of client returns and exchanges, as well as opening and closing procedures—when designated
- Maintain awareness of fashion trends, competitive landscape, and client segmentation to provide optimal solutions and recommendations
- Resolve common client issues and concerns as the first point of contact, fostering open and collaborative communication internally while proposing effective solutions
Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of luxury fashion retail sales experience with an excellent track record in similar roles or customer service settings
- Demonstrated passion and natural ability for relationship building and people engagement
- High degree of ethics, professionalism, integrity, and proven ability to inspire trust and influence a team
- Proven ability to perform complex tasks with accuracy and commitment, and to collaborate effectively with teammates while serving as a role model
- Proven ability to drive and exceed individual and store sales results while building lasting relationships with customers and colleagues
- Deep knowledge of and genuine passion for fashion and luxury industries
- Excellent commercial awareness and client-centric attitude with ability to adapt to diverse clients and complex situations
- Strong internal and external communication skills with ability to work in fast-moving, dynamic retail environments
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 4+ years of luxury fashion retail sales experience with an excellent track record, preferably in a similar client-facing or customer service role. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets, building loyal clientele, and progressing to roles with supervisory or management support responsibilities.
